For a 420-Thread Count this is an excellent quality duvet set. It is soft, very beautiful color and it does not wrinkle after the washing (unlike some other sets I have bought).

I wanted a duvet set that was simple and would turn a dark room into a hotel-like setting. This was just the ticket and I can't believe the price. Quality-wise this is soft and comfortable but sturdy too. My existing duvet slipped right into the cover and the buttons were easy to deal with. No sloppy "extra empty space" once on. The simple band gives a stately or Roman feel/look. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Five stars!

I am using this for an extra bedroom and the worry always is that the size is generous enough and the color pallette is pleasing. I can happily say that I am happy with this item.

This duvet cover is truly worth the price. The fact that it comes with shams makes it very decorative and can be used instead of a formal bedspread. The color is true to the picture. I have no negative comments to offer.
Good material, lacking small details

420 thread count cotton is really quite luxurious, and this set feels and looks really good. It's soft but thick. I put it in the dryer, but it didn't turn out too wrinkly. I'm not all that particular about that, it straightens out on the bed anyway.
There were some details lacking from this set that would have made it a 5 star product:
1. The ties inside the duvet cover so you can attach them to the duvet. Some duvets have a tie in the corner so you can attach it to the covers that have the ribbon on the inside. That makes it so much easier to manage the duvet.
3. The slit on the side of the duvet cover to make moving the duvet into position easier. Of course, this makes more sense if you have the ties on the inside to begin with.
All in all, it was a nice purchase. They feel great and look elegant. I wish manufacturers would just state upfront when they include the ties and the slits, it would make it so much easier when I shop for bedlinen.

This duvet set is fine for such a low price. it is very thin but I can not see my white comforter through it. My King size comforter does not fill this king size cover which makes it hard to keep in place as there are not ties inside the cover. This will do until I can find something else.
Choc/Teal

My duvet cover and pillow cases arrived today - I purchased the chocolate and teal, and the color is NOT chocolate, its more like a sage green and that doesn't go to well with teal - its pretty darn ugly!
Otherwise it seems ok, I'm keeping it because I'm too lazy to return it, I will find something else thats a nicer color combo than this! |

There was dirt on one sham and the dvet cover. Also..because of the "coverlet" effect, the duvet shifts around a lot.
